So, it has been just over 72 hours since I became engaged. I honestly didn’t thing I was bothered about a fancy ring – turns out I was un-apologetically wrong and even though I am nowhere  near thinking about or starting any sort of  planning, it has changed the way that I view weddings in general.  Well, not changed exactly, more reinforced the way that I approach and document the day.

I appreciate even more so the decisions that are made by my couples, the details of the day and  the feel of the day that they are trying to create. I already know that there is no right or wrong way to have your day, but all the choices are so personal.

Some couples love wedding planning, others hate it – It will be interesting to find out which type we are. And, because it’s Monday and the weather has been a bit rubbish I thought I’d leave you with  this – the idea of relaxing & playing in the sea in the sun. Somewhere warm.
