A few weeks ago now I had the absolute pleasure of shooting the wedding day of Oliver and Lucy at Denton Hall. It’s always kind of crazy when the day actually arrives because between myself and them we’ve talked about it so much.But, their day did arrive and it certainly did not disappoint.
What you have to know about Oli and Lou is that from the start they think of everyone else first. That is them to a T. And their wedding day was no different. The kids that were there had everything you could think of to entertain them all throughout the day and the adults were treated no less. With games on the lawn, amazing food that kept arriving and plenty of drinks. There was also little pots of goodies stashed around like jars with sweets in and crisps to keep the hunger away. I’m not ashamed to say that I sampled both 😉
A very cool thing about Oli and Lou’s wedding was the fact that they had a first look! They decided to sneak off and see each other before the ceremony which I absolutely loved. It took pressure of their reception timeline and was just SO sweet to see. Oli was literally bowled over when he saw her. You can tell a lot about a couple how they look at each other and I can hand on heart say that I think Oli fell in love with her again when he saw her.
I don’t actually think I describe how much I enjoyed their day in words, so I’m just leave these here. Oh and by the way – it’s kind of a big one.
