Garden Tent Wedding: Lloyd & Katie

I’m pretty sure that the reason it sometimes takes me a while to blog my wedding is because I want to keep them a little longer and this one is no different!! Lloyd and Katie’s garden tent wedding was a beautiful day. Aside from the obvious of them being ridiculously gorgeous they are some of the nicest and kindest I have had the pleasure of getting to know. When Katie first got in touch and told me they were planning to have their wedding on Lloyd’s, grandparents farm, I knew that it was going to be a good time, and I was right. Soooo right. They chose to get married somewhere that meant something to them both. In the woods, in a cleared section of land, they laid out benches and a wooden arch, made by Lloyd’s uncles. They had limoncello ready for the guests to toast with and beautiful light came through the trees. Sound just a little bit dreamy? It was!

Lloyd and Katie are the kind of couple that think about others. They are so deep in love together, that it over flows. Before the wedding day Lloyd did a walk though of the grounds to see how everything would look and feel as a guest, to make sure they were going to have a great time, and they did – we all did!! Everything had been thought about to the tiniest detail, add one stunning bride and a dapper groom – well, the day was pretty much perfect!

They got married early August, during that amazing heatwave that kept on giving. Beautiful blue skies through to balmy late nights – the weather couldn’t have been any better, it really was the perfect back drop for these guys to party hard with all of their favourite people.

Lloyd and Katie – thank you so much for a beautiful day, for being truly lovely people. I’m so glad that I can call you friends now. xxx
