I have always peppered my photography with newborn and family shoots but since having my own boys the weight and importance of them is sitting in my bones. And I have a love for photographing mums, new ones and the ones who are doing it again. I really find that mums go to the bottom of the pile a little bit we put everyone else first, it just happens. So when I am invited in your home to document you and your little people I take it as an honour.Truly. I appreciate how these moments pass and we they really dont stay little for ever.
When I’m invited back into your home again, it is SUCH a treat. Seeing how the family has grown and changed. Seeing the pictures on your walls from the last time we were together.
A few weeks ago, well to be honest a couple of months now, I had the pleasure of being invited back to Helen and John’s home to meet their second boy, Ralph. I have the pleasure of being the photographer for them. Their engagement, their wedding, their first son and now their second. Its a true treat!
Arriving a little early, having a quick chat, hearing how the birth went, how they are settling in, it all weaves into the process. So, without further ado, let me introduce to Ralph, see if you think he looks like his big brother when we did his newborn shoot here.
