It gets me every-time, the amazingness of a women’s body, how we can grow and nurture these tiny humans whilst they are inside – and get them out!! When I first photographed Kirsty she was pregnant with Grae with not long left to go at all and then the next time I photographed her, she’s holding this beautiful little boy.  Tiny fingers and toes, being smothered in kisses and coo’s just like any baby should be.

I don’t need to state the obvious that Kirsty was one of the lucky ones that managed to stay looking fabulous during pregnancy  and afterwards!! But however you are feeling, or looking, there is nothing that quite compares to holding that little person close. Letting them lay on you, holding their hands, marvelling at their amazingness and just generally loosing hours of the day staring at them. But how else do you etch that tininess into your mind to remember the early days?!  All these baby shoots are making me want another 😉

I love photographing babies. I genuinely love seeing new parents hold them and love on them – precious new cargo that needs the up most care. And that love. That undeniable, exhausted, scared, confident, abundant beautiful love that we have for our babies that spills over into every part of life with out us even realising.

Here are a few from our precious little shoot. Expecting your own little one? Why not get in touch and let me help document those early  days for you.
