This past weekend we took our first family holiday to Northumberland, this year with Ezra, we are all about the UK breaks! But, with coastlines as beautiful as we have I really don’t mind. We hired a cottage with Jim’s family in Seahouses and explored around the area. It’s the first time that I have been, I’m not quite sure how that happened but I know that it definitely wont be the last.

I made a bit of an error and didn’t fully charge my camera – I’m blaming baby brain for that. So I only got to use my ‘proper’ camera on the first day, but I did have my phone and as the saying goes  – the best camera you can use is the one that you have on you.

Every year Jim and I, and his sister & brother-in-law always go to London, but with Ezra being here this year that couldn’t happen. So instead we decided to stay somewhere with the kids and to be honest it couldn’t have come at a better time. We had a bit of a rough time with Ezra the week before and being able to spend some days away together, with him happy and healthy made me appreciate this tiny gorgeous love even more. So much more.

We visited: Seahouses. Banburgh Castle. Alnwick. Lower Newton by the Sea.
