PapaKata host their open days a couple of times a year and a few weeks ago I had the pleasure of documenting their first one for this year at Esrick Park.
Honestly, if I didn’t do, what I do, I think that I’d like to work for PapaKata, they always seem to be creating fun new ventures – and their team is always laughing. The open day consisted of showcasing their classic and original Tipi’s and the beautiful Sperry tent – both very different. But equally gorgeous. To let you really get a good look at everything I’m breaking the weekend into 3 pieces, so you get to enjoy all the Papa goodness and the fabulous suppliers that added to the event.
I’m going to start with the Tipi’s, which were set up to showcase various ways of seating and how to create hygge inspired areas for guests to chill out in front of the fire pits. It also shows their gorgeous new farmhouse tables, which have been dressed beautifully with linens, candles, menus and fabulous flora. I wish that I could have my dinner table looking this darn chic all the time!!
When you go into the Tipi, it’s one of those places where every time you walk around you see something new. Especially when there are so many gorgeous details to look at. Inside the Tipi it screams party – dimmed lighting and fire pits which are perfect for staying warm and toasting marshmallows. They also host a resident glitter ball above the dance floor, which makes your guests feel even more inclined to shake their tails feathers all night long!
I especially loved the bar with fresh herbs hanging out of it. Now that’s a sure bet that guests are going to have a good time. It also makes me want to make one in the garden.
