I don’t think it matters how hard you try to resist, there is something about planning a wedding that consumes a tiny part of you. In the beginning, like right now, it’s all about the where. Abroad or at home. Lavish or DIY. Church or town hall. Small party or large. Questions all of which lay in the balance of splurge or save. Being a wedding photographer I see a range of different ideas, set in an array of different places, which people seem to think makes the decision for what we want to do for ours easier. It doesn’t.
I’m really looking forward to seeing where we finally decide to host and see what final decisions and trimmings we add to the day. Last week I visited Harrogate Wedding Lounge for my first ever real go at trying on dresses. God, that was fun. I even think that I found the one. But, with any big spend I’m just mulling it over. Although I do admit to looking at it everyday since I tried it on. I can’t lie, it gave me the feels. But I’m going to touch more on that next time.
