I dont know if I consider myself a foodie, but I do enjoy cooking. And not the we need to eat im starving – whats for tea cooking. I read cookery books like actual books and so easily persuaded t with a delicious looking picture accompanying a recipe to cook it. Sushi is a food that I first discovered really in Australia. My friend who I was travelling with, and everyone now and again it became a little treat between zipping up our backpacks and travelling up the coast. After making a few times at home I thought that a course would help me refine and define my skills. And it also happens to be number 01 on my list. So, when I went to a vintage night at the Outlaws Yacht Club with my friend Jess and came across the Sushi boy leaflet I didn’t take long to check them out and book on a course.
The lady behind Sushiboy is Anne Marie and couldn’t say nicer things about her. She teaches you how to create sushi, in such an easy and fun way. I took my 35mm along for the ride to the Birds Yard Cafe where the class was hosted, but was limited to images due to the stickiness of the rice!
**** UPDATE – Sushiboy is holding another class on 10th February! Check the website for more details*****
