I like many, have military history intricately woven into the seams of my families DNA. I don’t think that a minute for 1 day of the year will ever suffice. That can never be enough, I’m not quite sure what is. However at 11 today I will stop with the countless others, remember and quietly say thank you. Thank you to the men and women who in earlier years stood their ground, fought, died and survived. And to the service men of today – Thank you. You make me proud.
