I realised, finally, that I’m not superwoman and there is a good chance neither are you. It’s hard isn’t it, to admit that we cannot do everything. I find that hard. But it’s made all that bit easier when you surround your self with people who tell you how it is, and reaffirm that it’s ok not to have together. Last week I met up with some kick ass girlbosses. Over coffee, a session of yoga and pizza slices we dissected each others businesses and told each other what wasn’t working and how we could focus on our strengths on what was working, to reach the people who are the best fit for us. The people who inspire us and make us want to do what we do, even more.
If you don’t have a group of friends that you can surround yourself with to tell you how it is, to tell you what you didn’t think you needed to hear – whilst encouraging you all the way – find some. Find at least one, because it makes this whole journey waaaaay more fun. So here is to not having boring business meetings, to girlboss meet-ups and to planning big things for next year.
