Boho Garden Wedding
If you’ve never had the pleasure of attending a wedding hosted by the The Higgin’s family, I feel for you, no one quite throws a wedding like these guys do. Last weekend I had the privilege of photographing Tally and Gareth’s boho garden wedding and it was brilliant. I mean – how many weddings do you attend where there is a unicorn in the garden?!
Being that Tally is an interior designer I knew that the aesthetics were going to be great, but Tally went above and beyond to create such an amazing setting for her guests. Hosted in her parents garden, the space was transformed into something magical. The day had the feel of a mini festival but a chic wedding at the same time. They had a naked wig-wam with hay bales sat in front of their huge sail tent and Mexican street food waiting for guests when they arrived.
Gareth and Tally are an easily likeable couple, people naturally gravitate to them and you can see why. They know how to have fun, are super friendly, laugh easily and know how to get that dance floor going. All.Night.Long! It was an absolute pleasure to be able to document their day.
Inside the sail tent Tally had custom made (designed by her) place mats, neon ombre candles, gold pineapples that graced the tables and huge leafy greens. The dance-floor was full of stars hanging from the roof and above the bar was a colourful display of pompoms – super stunning!
Gareth &Tally – here is to a fabulous long and happy marriage I hope that you laugh together always. Thank you for letting me be apart of your day. Here are just a few from their day, well actually, it’s a huge blog – but I couldn’t help myself, you’ll see why.
