A few weekends ago when the weather was absolutely boiling, I dare say one of the hottest days so far,I had the pure pleasure of documenting the wedding of Steve & Carol. Aside from the sunshine, everything about the day was brilliant. It was stress free, beautiful, relaxed and filled with lots of happy. My favourite kind of day.
The day was hosted at The Red Lion hotel in Burnsall, just next to the river. And it was great because they don’t close it to the public, so you have loads of different people milling around, playing in the water and just having fun.
The wedding was chic and timeless from beginning to end. Carol is full of style and her Ian Stuart dress and details where just perfect {Flowers by Hedgerow}
I have to give a quick mention to Allison from Visage. She was so brilliant. Not only was she uber nice but she had the best light set up from a makeup artist I have ever seen. I can highly recommend her.
I love-love-love happy brides.
These guys were hilarous. They were a 4 piece band that were not short of laughs and kept everyone entertained.
Steve and Carol choose to walk down the aisle together, which I thought was so nice. Definitely a unique part of their day.
Steve & Carol are both so natural in front of the camera. When couples let me document you them, just being them, it’s my total favourite.
Fabulous Cake of cheese by {Lawsons Cheese}.
After dinner as the evening guests where arriving I asked Steve and Carol if they would join me outside for literally 5 minutes. I’m so glad they yes. Because the light was pretty. Real pretty.
And this is how the night continued. Dancing. Drinking.Fun.Laughter.Happy – repeat!
Steve & Carol, thank you so much for such a fabulous day. I hope that your Moroccan honeymoon has been beautiful.
Much love,
