In the past year or so I have tried to make this blog more personal, more real – a little bit more me.Not just the voice of the wedding photographer And, although I feel like I have accomplished this to some extent I want to go further. I want this to be a place where I can open up, have girl talk and connect with you the person that reads my blog. Even if their is only one of you, lets make it real. Although you may not want to know what I had for breakfast, and I don’t know if I want to tell you, I would like to share the smaller details that make up me, my life and overall – my business.
If this all feels like a bit much for some, and you want to stop reading, I’m Ok with that (thank you for reading so far), but for those who want to keep coming back – thank you. Lets connect. Lets make this place a somewhere where conversations happen.
So, in light of starting conversation and trying to me more me, I thought I would tell you some things, that you may/may-not already know/want to know/couldn’t care less about.

( A picture from last week in Assisi, Italy. Yes, Im wearing a see-through mac, and yes it rained. A lot.)
I’m a chatterbox and can think of lots of random things to say about myself! But you asked for one, so here goes:
1. I spend about half my time bright red and blushing, a quarter stressing about the last episode of blushing and another quarter worrying about the next time. By blushing I don’t mean anything charming or romantic or from a Jane Austin novel, I mean bright red in the face, neck and arms when I’m uncomfortable, asked a question, worry, drink alcohol, do a presentation, get angry, cry (nearing on purple here!), laugh too much etc.
I fear my photographer will have a job on her hands editing my wedding photos so I look less like Mr Blobby!

Catherine!!
Your photographer can handle this fine.Mainly because she has the same condition (I think it can definitely be classed as a condition). I go red and the thought of the redness. And the heat! Do you get the heat that comes with it?? Ah, if only we were from an JA novel. However, from what I know already I imagine you handle this quite graciously if not in a completely organised manner of a blushing spreadsheet! 😉
Thank you SO much for sharing and telling me one thing about you. I cant wait to meet up in a few weeks and find out more and all the random things that make you YOU.
