A quick hi 👋. Thought I’d do a quick into to A quick hi 👋. Thought I’d do a quick into to say for anyone that’s new around here. I’m a mum of 3 living in Yorkshire. 👦👦👧 I’ve been photographing people for over a decade and have a passion for working with women. 📸 I love a good book on the go. Always paper over a kindle. 📕 I like to make sourdough. 🍞 The older I’m getting I like to have plans but not too many. Love a coloured taper candle. 🕯️ Flat white is an essential. ☕️ Have a continuous to do list on the go. ✔️ Love trying out new hobbies. As the kids are growing I’m taking a bit more time for me, or trying to. Because I’ve realised that’s slipped for a while. If you’re new around here, hi, 👋. Before bed, no matter how late really I need to get at least one page in. It just makes me feel like I’ve done at least a little something for me. I’ve just finished a really great book called - The Four Winds. I absolutely loved it!! Aside from just reading I’m a big podcast listener too and I thought I’d share a few bits of all sorts that I’m enjoying 📖 - The Four Winds that I mentioned above. 🎧 - Goal Digger by Jenna Kutcher. My go to every time I’m the car. Great business and life chat. 📖 - The fire starter sessions by Danielle Laporte. I’ve read this so many times. 🎧The Game - by Alex Hormozi - business chat. 🎧 Strategy Hour - Abagail Pumphrey. All about biz strategy👌 📖 - nine perfect strangers. I’m late to the party here but I liked this and was dedicated lolling in parts.

Creating content - seeing yourself on the camera c Creating content - seeing yourself on the camera can all feel a bit stressful sometimes. We get in our own head and pass a LOT of judegement. Are we doing it right? Do I look daft? etc etc - send me a hi 👋 in the comments if you get what I'm saying! Ive felt this way and to be honest feel this way now sometimes but I'm just learning to push through it. Sometimes it can be as simple as having a little plan to help us get going. So Ive created a brochure with over 40 pages of posing inspo that you could try for your own business. Believe me when I say that people what to see YOU. Let make normal things normal over here… 1) let Let make normal things normal over here… 1) let’s not leave documenting life just for the ‘happy’ moments. I would love to have more snippets of everyday life with my parents. In fact I want more snippets of life for me, why can’t that be normal? 2. Here’s to normalising that life is happening. Business keep moving and we are raising our families. All at the same time. The juggle (in my own opinion) is whatever is needed to be done to keep your nervous system in check - that’s where the real flex is. If it means not being online for a while whilst you focus on family - do it. If it means getting someone to watch your kids for a few hours whilst you can your head stuck into work do it. Let’s leave the ‘needing to do it all’ at the door, because it’s not helping any of us. ❤️

These are a few scenes from my shoot with @storylines_interior_design What made this shoot extra gorgeous was the prep work that went into the planning. What needed to be shot, how we wanted it to look and where is was going to be used. These shoots are the kind of investments that keep giving and giving.
