A couple of weeks ago it was parents 42nd anniversary. And, anyone who knows me well, knows how much I love my parents. They are an amazing example of a how to do marriage and life. They have taught me that you don’t just have dreams and aspirations when you are young. I see my parents approach life with a optimistic, adventurous and grateful mindset. Grateful for all they have accomplished and optimistic about all their adventures still to come. They’ve taught  me that goals and dreams with hard work go hand in hand. Maybe are even the same thing.

For their anniversary I took them to Whitby sea side for a picnic, with my sister and nephew. After we had finished eating, over looking  the sea I handed them two ballon’s, a pen and a handful of tags. I asked them to write 21 goals from that they have accomplished so far and memories that stood out through their 42 years of marriage, and 21 more that they still wish to do and tie them to the ballon’s. Then we let them go, and watched them sail out. As they stood there with their dreams ,down beside the sea, hand in hand I have every belief that  their adventures  will all come true.
