When Kate and Sally first contacted me, they said they wanted to get some pictures done for their mums 60th of the grandchildren and her dogs. They say never work with children and animals, but that is two bits of advice I was {happily} ready to ignore.
We set off to Meanwood park for our session, and were blessed with the weather. To me working with children is more of a waiting game, then a stop and pose set up. Asking children to smile dosent often yield the best results. It definitely pays off to wait for the natural smile, when their having fun. It was so nice to spend time with them and see how close they are as a family. And literally, as we were taking the last shot the weather took a turn on us and started to rain! Here a are few from the day…
I absolutely LOVE this last picture. Its chaos. Hair pulling, babies crying, dogs looking the other way… Family life! x Kate and Sally you have beautiful children!
Happy Tuesday.
