You and Your Wedding

As I handed over my shopping  which included a You and Your Wedding magazine,I was secretly hoping that she would ask ‘ohh are you getting married?’. Not that so my response could be ‘no, not yet’ but so I could say ‘no, I bought this because my work is FEATURED in the magazine!!’ Last year one of my goals was to see my work in print. So, the only way you can do that is if you submit and try right? So I did. I submitted to You and Your Wedding and they happily agreed to feature  Jim and Laura’s (from Grandma Eileen’s Affordable Vintage) Vintage Circus wedding!!

I am so excited right now its untrue. I’m not even trying to play it cool. This is my first full wedding feature and I will proudly frame the cover and hang it in my office. Today for me marks a milestone.

I have to say thank you though, to Jim and Laura for hosting such an amazing day and allowing me to document it! They trusted me capture their day, the way I saw it and in my own style, and I am so grateful for that. There wasn’t once person that did not love this Vintage Circus themed  wedding!! You guys know how to throw a wedding. A full on party. And, an all night dancing session!
