One of the things that I really love is getting work with businesses on a repeat basis. Building up that rapport and knowing what aesthetic they are looking for, makes creating images a pleasure.

A few weeks ago I joined Leafy Couture Calderdale for the first shoot on becoming part of the Leafy Couture Team.

One of the things I love most about what I do is getting to step into another woman’s business world and capture it in a way that feels real. Recently I had the pleasure of photographing the Leafy Couture franchise shoot, and honestly – it was such a joy. Leafy Couture isn’t just about flowers (although, believe me, the flowers were stunning). It’s about a growing community of women building something beautiful, and I got to document that.

The Story Behind the Shoot:
Leafy Couture has blossomed from a single florist into a franchise that’s helping others start and grow their own creative businesses. This shoot was about giving them a set of images that not only show their gorgeous floral work, but also capture the people, the connection, and the energy behind the brand.

What We Focused On:

  • Natural, approachable portraits of Becky (because clients connect with faces, not logos).

  • Behind-the-scenes shots – hands busy with blooms, little details that tell the story.

  • Product Images. Plenty of beautiful blooms and flower arches to showcase their true potential and craftmanship.

  • The styling was fresh, colourful and relaxed – just like the brand itself.

The Experience:
If you’ve ever been in front of my camera, you’ll know I like to keep things light. Most people arrive telling me they “hate having their photo taken” – but by the end, they’re relaxed, laughing and actually enjoying it. This shoot was no different. Watching the women behind Leafy Couture ease into it and start to own the camera was such a highlight for me.

Why It Matters:
For a franchise, photography isn’t just a nice-to-have. It’s the glue that holds the brand together visually. Having a bank of consistent, professional images means:

  • Every location can market confidently

  • The brand looks polished and trustworthy

  • There’s a sense of belonging across the whole franchise family

And let’s be honest, when you’re proud of your photos, you actually want to show up more in your business.

This shoot reminded me why I do what I do – helping women in business feel seen, confident, and proud of the story they’re telling.

If you’re building a franchise, running your own business, or just feel ready for images that actually look like you – I’d love to chat. You can get in touch [here].
