Today is the day we celebrate one of my true favourites – my dad. It’s his birthday. My dad is pretty amazing. He’s still fit and healthy and has a zest for life. As I’m getting older I’m realising even more, the sacrifices that parents make for their children. Creating a home for them. Putting our needs before their own. I just turned 31 and they still don’t stop doing this for me.
It’s no secret that my dad is my hero. His humbleness and encouragement is infectious and he’s by far the best storyteller I know. So happy birthday Dad – and here is to many many more. x
