I’d be lying if I told you I woke up to breakfast in bed, with a day at the spa (treatments included) awaiting me, followed by a fabulous Michelin  wine fuelled meal. So I wont. I did breakfast at usual and then hit house with all the cleaning products I own! And they say romance is dead. I have however been able to squeeze in sometime to cook a Indian style dinner( and  have a glass or two of Cava) which will be complete with Rose petals for this evening. Oh lala I hear you say….

But,and this is where the valentines cliche/cringe comes in. I would like to say publicly that I have a fabulous man in my life who I love and really couldn’t be without. He puts up with all the behind the scenes that no one else does, the tears and the tantrums(yeah I have them) – and for whatever reason he still loves me! So, ladies (and gentlemen) raise a glass to your other half. Let them know you appreciate them. It doesn’t have to be expensive. Sometimes thank you, I appreciate you and I love you on any normal day, not just valentines, means more than all that money on roses and chocolates.

What ever you do have a fabulous one xx
