Head shots. Every business I think should have one. You want to see the face behind the brand, the person your investing, and just for good old-fashioned nosiness sake!  I think that the representations that businesses put out there of themselves have long since changed from the mean and moody, look into the distance kind if shot. It’s about getting personal and showing you. That was my aim when I was asked by Laura of Grandma Eileen’s affordable vintage to do hers. Anyone that  knows Laura for more that % minutes will know that she laughs. She smiles. And is a bag of fun. She’s a live in the moment, capture life now kind of girl.

To do the shoot  I did hair and make-up and then we walked not far from my base location and found light. Seems kind of obvious, but when you become obsessed with finding that kind of light it gets you excited  And when you find what you’re looking for, you don’t have to over shoot, you only need a few moments to document what you need.

So here are a few head-shots from the session with Laura from Grandma Eileen’s Affordable vintage. I love how they turned out.
