Katie and the cats.
Some people spend their days filled with helping others. Not for the fame and the fortune or the next big award. But simply because they care. Because caring and giving is part of their make up. Part of who they are. Katie, who I now call a friend contacted me for some pictures. She runs a Kittenery and re-homes hundreds on kittens on a yearly basis. She basically looks after them from when they are days and weeks old and helps them find homes. Having 2 cats who I reared since 4 weeks old I know how hard the task can be. You become quickly attached, which adds to the emotional weight of what Katie does.
Katie, thank you so much for approaching me. Thank you for allowing me to help tell your story. Thank you for what you do, and thank you for being you!!
If like me you appreciate a person like Katie who makes it her life to help animals, and if you love animals in any capacity – would you be willing to help? See the information below and if you can – please help.
BCWR KITTENS
As Christmas is approaching, I just want to let you know that I will not be accepting any personal Christmas gifts for myself and equally will not be purchasing gifts for my friends. Instead, this year with the money that I would usually spend on cards and gifts will be buying items or paying towards the vet costs for BCWR Kittens.
Many rescues are facing closure in this economic climate. BCWR Kittens relies on donations of gifts, finance and volunteer time. Without your support we too could be facing closure. If you want to contribute to the work here at BCWR Kittens contact us or take a peek at our wishlist.
Thank you
Please take a look at the wish list and if you can help with anything please do xx
Please check out Bcwr Facebook page to see more of what goes on.
