I’m obviously a super fan of small businesses – being one myself – and I massively enjoy getting the chance to work with them. It’s also a nice way to keep my working week fresh and diverse outside of weddings. We all know i’m a little late in sharing work around here, it’s called Ezra 😉 He takes up pretty much all my free time – but he’s super cute so its fine!
So, last year when I was fully pregnant (one of the second to last ones I worked) I did a shoot for Lambsie, a really cool little independent clothing company for children. The unique part about their brand is that everything is made from pre-loved wool and cashmere. Being on the shoot I saw all the stock and I can honestly say that they are stunning.
People say don’t work with animals and kids but these lot did a 180 on that statement. They were all really well-behaved and a good bit of fun to be with. If you have a company that tailors to children and you need new images, one call me 😉 and two, do what lambsie did, get your friends round with their children so they can model. The key is to having a plan to you can keep their attention for what you need.
Make sure that you take a minute to look at their site – Lambsie
