This year my family has grown by two. I had a little niece called Ava (one of my sisters) and a nephew called David (my brothers). I’m lucky enough that most of my little lovelies (there are 5 in total) live near by. Little David however, lives in South Africa so understandably seeing him isn’t as frequent. But at the end of Summer we were treated to a visit, which meant we could kiss, cuddle and generally love on him as much as we wanted – we made the most of it. Oh and i got to meet my new sister-in-law. Double win!

Having a photographer in the family has it perks- well, for everyone else. It means that we are able to have professional pictures – something we rarely had growing up. In fact, I think it only happened once and I will forever be aged around 7 in my mothers hallway! There was no way I was letting the visit pass without getting some pictures in. It wasn’t for long. It wasn’t fancy. But it was them, it was me, it was real and it was  full of his gorgeous smile. I’m sad that  I won’t be seeing him at Christmas, but thankful for being able to see his little face through my lens.
