We did it. We finally took one of the next ‘big steps’ and bought a house. And I could not be happier. I love my new home. I love the work that we have to do. I love the work that we have already done. The cracks that are still to be fixed, walls to be plastered, carpets to change, the garden that needs attention. I love it all. This is our first house, we moved from a flat and just having stairs to walk up is still a novelty. I’m thinking of all the extra exercise I am now getting 😉 But mostly, I know it’s a place where we plan to spend quite a few years.

If you follow me on Instagram you will see the progression of the house coming along. We got our keys the first week in December and moved in on the 9th of January. I am beyond thankful for both our parents. They have been amazing at helping us move and get the rooms into a comfortable place. In the next few weeks when we get some more of the rooms neared complete I would love to show you how we have attempted to take some of our my Pinterest obsession and recreate it on our home.
