Is there anything nicer than seeing a newborn being absolutley adored? Last week I had the privilege  of meeting little Elma, at just over 4 weeks old she was utter perfection – and I’m pretty sure mum and dad thought so too! I don’t think there is anywhere more well suited than doing newborn shoots at home. The place where they spend most of their time and where you spend most of your time with them. Feeding, changing, talking and both learning from each other.

Marcus and Kirsty had the cutest little cottage, actually it was more like a Tardis! They had it decorated so lovely with a ton of natural light  pouring through their bedroom window, which you know I love!!They wanted pictures that reflected this time in all their lives, so they could remember just how teeny their little one was and the beautiful bond that they had already as a little family, the one that would get even stronger over time.

Elma was a natural in front of the camera, gave no trouble and just made us all dote on her! These are just a handful of the ones that were taken. Marcus and Kirsty, thank you so much for allowing me to come into your home and spend time with your little family. I came away one very happy photographer and seeing you with your little bundle reaffirmed how amazing these early weeks are.
