A couple of weekends ago me and my chauffeur Jim,  travelled down to Nottingham for an engagement session. Not ours, no, but Chris and Catherine’s.  I was nervous. This was the first time that we had ever met in person.  You see, Chris and Catherine were the first couple that I ever had a Skype meeting with, and they booked me!! Ever since, we keep in contact via e-mail but more so via social media, which I love. We follow each other on FB and Instagram and through these small openings I can get to see so much of their life that wouldn’t be told the same via email.  Anyway, I may as well not have been anything near nervous because they both instantly  put me at ease and I felt like I had known them forever.

Chris and Catherine met at Nottingham University, where they  both studied French.  Even though their test paper numbers were right after each after each, meaning they would have sat countless of exams together, they didn’t notice each other to final year.  But, pretty much since then they have been inseparable.  The first thing you notice about Chris and Catherine are their smiles. They both have these big, white perfect smiles. And they laugh. Together. Always.

As we strolled through the campus, and we talked about life and just random things in general. We stopped for portraits and fun. I know that even if it had not have been the last year of Uni that they met, that they would have anyway, some where else. Fate would have entwined their paths to make it so.  Parce qu’ils sont simplement destinés à être.
