Personal Branding Photography in Leeds
Ah ladies, how I love you and all the hats you wear. More often that not we are so busy showcasing our businesses and working in them that we forget to showcase us – the driving force behind it, or at best its way down on the list of things to do or to spend your money on. Ive worked with countless women throughout my years of personal branding photography in Leeds and straight away after our shoot, so many say they don’t know why they waited so long to get them done! They were expecting it to feel icky because they don’t like seeing themselves on camera.
But, hey, hi, thats where I come in. We basically turn that icky process into it feeling like you’re with your friend, having a catchup, talking life, talking business and having some laughs. I take my camera out as we go along and a few days later you’re loving what you’re seeing, which is YOU!
When I do my personal branding photography in Leeds, the first couple of questions that I hear are what should I wear? Where should we shoot? How do I choose the images? I cover all of this and more In my welcome brochure but let me share it here as well.
What should I wear?
I’m no style guru, but, I do know what I like and what makes me feel good. Most days I have would love to glam up more, but truth be told with two young children I’m more practical. But on shoot days – I don’t need to be practical. I can inject fun, a bit of me – showcase more of who I am. You’re away from the kids and the house and you can fully commit to enjoying your wardrobe. Take a look at your brand colours, your aesthetic, maybe try match them for a streamline and cohesive finish. Always wear something that ultimately makes you feel great and matches the purpose of the shoot. Because, when you feel great, it shows.
Where should we shoot?
This one is completely down to preference. You need to think about what it is your showcasing. Is this shoot to get more interesting profile shots, head shots that can be used across material? Are you needing you in action doing your craft? Do you work in a studio? Office? Home? Anywhere? Think of the shoot purpose and use of the images and that will give us a better direction of location. You also want it to match your brand, you’re aesthetics, your vibe.
How do I choose the images?
This is an easy one. You’ll receive all your images fully edited on an online gallery ready to choose your favourites. A click of a button at your end lets me know which ones you want and I send them to you, ready to go, in high resolution and web – to be able to be used immediately 😉
