Last week I got back from a few days from Port D’Andratx with Jim and my parents. It was only a 5 day break but it was brilliant. Acqua blue sea, perfect skies, shining sun and the people I love the most. We were quite lucky as the apartment that we rented was a stone throw from the sea and had an pretty fabulous beach club so we spent a couple of our days there and a couple of days at Sant Elm. As usual I travelled with by 50mm and documented our days away. Here are just a few.
Happy Monday everyone! x
We landed around dinner time, so we figured that sitting with a sea view enjoying some crisp wine was the perfect lunch idea. This was our view when you came out of our apartment. I could have got used to seeing it a lot more. This was our apartment balcony/ courtyard area. …. the ideal place for cards. Well any place works for me, Its one of my favourite things to travel with.Somedays you just want to remember what the sky was like. After dinner we headed down to the sea front. I love seeing how the light changes. It was so soft and truly beautiful. My favourite two men. I too this picture twice because I loved the setting, and I wanted one with Dad doing his usual pose. ‘Hanging on’ to the side of a rock face. You looked back through some of family albums you’d see a pattern…. The port down by the front in the evening. There is something about the sea. I just feel good by being near it and listening to it. One day I want to live by it, even if only for a little while. I may be biased, but I think my mama is pretty. Real pretty! x
