Back in August I had the utmost pleasure of being re-united with the Towler ladies for another wedding. Amy, whom’s sister’s wedding I had documented a couple of years earlier was getting married to Rob. Rob and Amy are great together. Like the best of everything – they just fit together.
Arriving early at the house, the ladies were finishing breakfast, but the laughs and giggles had only just begun. The house was spotless and everything was organised, just ready to be worn. I love the bridesmaids initials on the coat hangers.
Amy’s shoes were her old dance shoes and customised them herself.
When you start the day with beautiful gowns, it only gets better! This Ian Stuart gown was stunning, and my most favourite part was that it had pockets! Heaven!
Amy’s dad is very sadly no longer with them, but I love the tribute to him that she made. Her something blue, a handkerchief that she placed in her pocket. She also sowed his wedding ring to the inside of her bouquet.
Amy – you look absolutely stunning!
Off the ladies go in the Bug to church.
Smiling couples at the Alter are my favourite, this is after all a celebration!!
A quick confetti bomb with the couple… ….and a little extra surprise one …
The reception was held at Victoria Hall in Saltaire, such a stunning building.
And we decided to go to Roberts Park for s few formals and portraits.
An impromptu dance from the boys…
….. with competition from the ladies. But, I think they were actually imitating Robs real dancing….
I then took Rob and Amy round the park for a few portraits, alone. It’s always nice on your day just to have a few minutes to yourself.
Rob and Amy, you do happy, in love and being gorgeous far too easily!!
The speeches were great. Full of emotion and tears, but also plenty of laughter.
A small reminder of the Stag doo, courtesy of the best men.
… quite a pleasant drink then? The afternoon soon rolled into the evening, and as the evening guests arrived, the lights dimmed and the first dance happened.
Rob and Amy very impressively waltz for their first dance to Elvis Presley, Cant help falling in love.
Then the dancing started. Which I am pretty certain went on to late into the night!
