Last week I took myself and my mum to a Spa day at My Little Farm Spa. In the afternoon we were treated to an Artisan Crafternoon tea, which as the title suggests afternoon tea (with the most amazing food) combined with crafts. All of which we did in our robes and slippers (Note to self : Robe and Slipper day is needed at least once a week). The idea behind the crafts with the spa is that slowing down and taking time off our busy schedule actually helps with our creativity. The crafts took our attention away from everything else and allowed us to switch off from the busyness. Focusing on what we are doing now, the steps we are taking and not putting the pressure on ourselves to measure up with greats. The greats and the people who succeed or have succeeded very well, didn’t get it all right the first time. Comparing ourselves to others makes no sense, because, we are all at different levels at different stages of the game.
As the end of Season draws to a near close for me, I am looking forward to a couple of weeks of slowing down, relaxing and refocusing. Enjoy your next couple of weeks peeps, and we will chat when I return!
As of Friday I am heading where the waters look a little more like this….
