SOLLER WEDDING, MALLORCA.

 

It’s true that when you are surrounded by your favourite people you can have a great time anywhere. But, put those people in Ca S’Hereu in Soller, Mallorca, the sun shining, great food, drink,  amazing views – celebrating two people they love  – getting married -it makes for extra happy wedding guests!

 

Mike and Claire  have had numerous holidays as a family  in Mallorca, so making the decision to host their wedding day there an easy one.  Nestled back in the hillside from the Port of Soller,  Ca S’Hereu is an old grape press turned villa. We stayed there as a family the week leading up to the wedding, helping to string lights, prep the flowers and style the venue – which basically meant my other new sister-in-law Katie Monkhouse taking the inside interiors out –  making the venue look extra fabulous.

 

Documenting a wedding in such an amazing place is one thing. But seeing so many people you know and love having a brilliant time – that’s even better.  Wedding days are full of energy – plenty of things going on and emotions can be all over. We miss the people who cannot be there, and  are excited to see that one person we are committing to living  and doing life with at the aisle. And as crazy as it sounds (and it is), there is some worry that your guests may not enjoy themselves like you want. But these days are so brilliant and are so, so worth it all.

 

Mike and Claire – thank you for hosting an amazing wedding. The effort you put it made it truly fabulous. I know that last weekend is one that will be with people for a long time. Thank you for letting us  all be part of the fun!  Happy honeymoon!! xx
