This world of weddings often leads me to some incredible people. This summer it didn’t disappoint. I was so happy to be shooting James and Kathryn’s weddings. She’s part of one of my favourite family’s and it was pure enjoyment to be there. They got married at the stunning priory in Bolton Abbey and then married at the equally gorgeous Tithe Barn.
The morning started at the Higher Scarcliffe cottages nestled into the country, not bad views to be preparing for the big day from. All the girls were here with Kathryns parents and grandma as well. I love a full getting morning group, because you can feel the excitement floating around.
Wedding days (to me) are all about firstly, marrying your favourite person and secondly enjoying allllll your favourite people that are there. It’s not worrying about your dress, your hair, the weather or anything that stop’s you fully immersing yourself in a pretty awesome day.
James and Kathryn, thank you SO much for having me there document your day! And thank you for being truly wonderful to be around. xxxx
