Chris and Bryony are the perfect match – an absolute perfect match. Their friends joke that they are Barbie & Ken 😉 I mean, they are super easy on the eye! But they are the sweetest of souls, real sweetness. They think about their friends and family first and are so easy to be around. They’re the couple you want on your to have on your team and have at your party – because they two know how to throw the tequilas down and hit the dance floor hard.
If you think that you need a beautiful sunshine alllll day on summer’s day for your wedding to be brilliant, then think again! Last summer I photographed Chris & Bryony’s wedding at The Tithe Barn, and it was beautiful, plus it rained a tonne! Now, the good thing about living in Yorkshire is that very rarely do we have the rain ALL day. Sure, it can come down for hours but I always seem to think we get a break and when we do we make sure we get in it, but even if it doesn’t, your photographs are still going to look beautiful and can sometimes force you into a space that you might not have ever used.
Both Chris and Bryony got ready with their respected wedding parties at The Lawrence Luxury Apartments in Harrogate, which are stunning. Freshly renovated, they really helped create a space that got the wedding morning vibes right from the start! What worked especially well is that the girls kept sections separate for hair and make up and for getting ready so we didn’t have too much of everything going on everywhere. Bryony and her bridesmaids were brilliant to be around in the morning, they were fun, and let that wedding morning feel buzz around the apartments. They were also super organised and helped out with what they could when needed.
I had the fabulous Brigitta join me for second shooting during the day and she started with Chris and the boys, who were a tad more relaxed than the girls 😉
They had their wedding reception at The Tithe Barn, a chic venue nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, with their ceremony just 2 minutes away at the Bolton Abbey church.
Chris and Bryony are such a great couple to be around. They are easy on the eye and even easier to be around. Chris know’s exactly how to make Bryony laugh and she makes him smile the easiest, the way he looks at her makes it pretty obvious how he feels. Chris and Bryony – thank you so much for allowing us to come and be part of your day, it was truly and utterly fabulous.
