So for the past week I lived in the city by the bay. The city where the hills are more at right angles than flat and where the fog rolls in. Deep. I felt kinda like a native, navigating the streets, eating at favourite haunts and putting in the miles by foot! The weather has been beautiful and actually topped 100 – ohhh yeah baby! I have taken pictures, but not as many as I thought I would have by now, but I’m seeing more. Sometimes I think you have to put the lens down to see what you want to capture. Ok, it’s getting deep, im ending this post 😉 But, and you know there is a but, I couldn’t leave without posting a picture. The other day we went for a drive over the bridge to Sausalito. As we walked down by side of the Bay, we stopped to look over the water at the Skyline and as cliché as it sounds I was happy. I am starting to appreciate the minutes in this day and am not looking at the ones of tomorrow until they arrive. I took this picture of Jim and It could be one of my favourites… I will be doing some more posts soon, but for now I want to raise my proverbial glass to the minutes of today and the small things in life!
p.s – straight of camera – remember when we used to do that? x
