A Yorkshire Sculpture Park Wedding
I knew as soon as I stepped foot through the front door that it was going to be good! Better than good, hands down fabulous! I started the day with Chloe at her house with her bridesmaids and family, and you could already feel the love. There is no better way to be greeted on a wedding morning than with big smiles and laughter. Even though the rain was pouring down when I arrived, Chloe was beaming. The start of the day was filled with make up being applied, stories being told, fizz being poured and laughter. So much laughter bubbling with excitement. This is Dougie, you’ll find him mostly testing out new positions on various surfaces.
Chloes makeup was done by the fabulous Lauren. Not only is she mega at what she does – she is super nice as well!
As Chloes dress had to go on over head and make up was already done, the obvious way to avoid makeup on the dress was using a scarf. The result…..
This was such a beautiful moment. Dad had been feeling the emotions through out the morning, but I don’t think there can be a way to prepare for seeing your little girl all dressed up and ready for her wedding.
Matt and Chloe held their wedding at The Yorkshire Sculpture Park, which couldn’t have been the more perfect setting for them.
The ceremony. How do I describe how it was. To see two people so obviously happy and completely in love promise forever, it’s pretty special to watch. They said their vows with meaning and purpose. They weren’t just repeating words, they were saying them direct to each others soul, and you really knew that they meant every word.
The reception was held on the terrace of the gardens and despite a day before the weather forecast showing thunder and lightning, we had brilliant sunshine. I love it when that happens.
Matt and Chloe didn’t want much in the way of formalities, but I did get to sneak them off for 10 minutes for some portraits.
And this is the last picture I’ll post. Because this is how I left them. Smiling. Together. In love. Happy.
Matt and Chloe, I didn’t know where to start and I don’t know where to finish. Thank you Thank you for a truly brilliant day!
