Farm Wedding Yorkshire
Summer is officially here and the farm wedding in Yorkshire that Matthew and Becki hosted had all the sunshine feels!! Their day was packed wall to wall with fabulous weather, happy vibes and good times. The wedding was hosted on Matthews parents farm and in the lead up to the wedding (literally a week or so before) Matthew, got the help of his friends, to set up scaffolding and lay decking – essentially making the entire wedding space. That’s pretty incredible. In my house we’re struggling to put shelves up and over here we have full on wedding space being made! 😉 They also had Becki’s mum helping create a lot decorations that made the marquee look extra beautiful!
I started the day with the girls as I love to do. It’s always fun, make up going on, hairs getting done and the favourite tipple is being poured. It’s like getting ready for the best night out you’re going to have! Becki’s morning was no exception. I also had Brigitta one of my favourite second shooters to work with starting with the guys. They got ready over at the farm which was a handy 2 minute walk to the church.
The All Saints Church in Farnley is the cutest little church and when you get over 100 people in there it feels even smaller! But it’s so beautiful. Just simple stone and stained glass windows.
After the ceremony back at the farm, Becki and Matthew had some great things lined up for their guests. They had a singer for the first part before dinner and then just before desserts they had surprise singing waiters that got everyone up on their feet before the meal had finished. Wheelbarrows were filled with beer for guests to grab themselves. A pallet sofa and bales of hay were made for guests to enjoy the views and sun. After dinner a saxophonist was there to bring Balearic vibes to the Yorkshire dales, which was really fitting because that’s where Becki went with her girls for her hen doo!
From start to finish Matthew and Becki’s day was filled with a lot fun. Topped off with amazing weather and fabulous people. Enjoy (just a selection )from their day. Thank you so much for having us there!
