Sometimes you come across a couple, and by seeing the way they are together, the kind of love they share – you leave a better person! Guy and Bethany have this effect. I was thrilled to be able to document their wedding in June. The sun was out and people were ready to have a good time.
Their ceremony was held in the most beautiful church in Clifton – St Edward King & Confessor. The church itself was stunning and didn’t need much help, but Bethany added some simple flowers which complimented perfect, and were done by Guys mum. Guy looking rather dapper. Guy gave himself double trouble and had 2 best men! Bethany arrived by vintage bus to the ceremony, which was very fittingly named Guy! My kind of bride – all smiles! Its the way that he looks at her…. If I could put one word under this picture it would be HAPPY! Guy and Bethany held their reception at the Village Hall in East Keswick. They transformed the venue into a chic and relaxing space for their guests to enjoy. I love all the white. Simple and classic. One of my favourite times at a wedding is the speeches. Everyone is feeling nice and relaxed and the laughs start rolling. A couple after my own heart. Why have one sweet treat after dinner when you can have a whole white dessert table. After dinner when the sun was a little behind the hall and the temperature a little cooler, I quickly grabbed Guy and Bethany for some more portraits. Bethany you are stunning! Portraits are not all about the posing. Its the crinkled nose and the real laughs that I fall in love with. It didn’t take long after the first dance for the guests to find their dancing shoes. I love a full dance floor! Instead of an evening buffet, they hired a Pizza oven company which was a fab idea. People could come and go as they pleased – and the dance floor stayed pretty much full! Guy and Bethany – thank you so much for letting me document your day! I loved it! xx

Love the twig decoration in the ceiling! any idea how they did that?
Hi! They used a real tree/branch/twigs 😉 Dressed it up and hung it from the ceiling! xx
What a fab wedding! Any idea how they did the flowers on the trellis behind the top table? Thanks ?
Hey Sarah! Thanks for getting in touch – this was SUCH a great wedding 😉 If I remember right, the grooms aunt was the florist and did all the flowers for them. But I don’t know how. xx
