Bowcliffe Hall Wedding.
Last weekend I got to be part in the wedding of Jonathan and Helen at Bowcliffe Hall. Their wedding felt like I there as a friend rather than to document it because not too long ago I photographed Helen’s brother’s wedding, so to be asked back by the family was an absolute treat.
The atmosphere at Helen’s parents house was so relaxed, their was no panic, no rushing, just everyone enjoying themselves and taking in the morning. Helen’s parents are the caring type, everyone is looked after, watered and fed – including the wedding car driver who was sipping cups of tea whist he waited, enjoying time in his Jaguar 😉 Helen wore a stunning Ezoani gown, simple, timeless and it was fit to perfection. She had her hairdresser to on hand to dress her hair, and makeup artist Chrys Chapman to give her that bridal glow. Leafy Couture did an amazing job with their wedding flowers, beautiful pastel peonies and fresh eucalyptus – what’s not to love about that!!
Back over at Bowcliffe Hall, Brigitta was with the boys. They did a slick job of getting ready before enjoy a mandatory pre wedding pint! Jonathan didn’t have to wait too long before the guests started arriving and then Helen. I love that build up to the bride arriving, everyones waiting for it, especially the groom, and Jonathan was no different.
Jonathan and Helen’s wedding was an absolute reflection of them. Sophisticated, fun, beautiful and a LOT of fun. One of my favourite things about them is how they are not super fans of being in front of the camera but because of how they are together, natural, completely in-tune and I know it sounds cliche, but totally in love, they make taking pictures of them an absolutley joy!
Jonathan and Helen, thank you for allowing me to be part of your day and here is just a tiny look at what I saw.
