Carolyn from Gray Starling is my lady of the week for the Friday Feature Branding Photography for women in business.
We met years ago in the wedding industry, we worked together on weddings and styled shoots and just clicked. I am in love with her style but I am obsessed with her natural given gift to pull creativity out of the bag in the fastest time, creating insane designs. She has been my go to lady for stationary for years and I won’t go anywhere anywhere else. As a fellow mum and business owner we share so many of the same high and lows of making these businesses work. What I have noticed most between our conversations is that most of us look at other with admiration, wondering how they do it all and make it look seamless, whilst behind he scenes we feel like we are just winging it. But that’s a whole different blog post, or podcast, yep, keep your eyes peeled.
Carolyn is not just a great designer she is dubbed the Flay Lay Queen (I started that might I add). She has the eye to pull elements together and make them pop. When I work with brands that need that extra element she is my go to lady.
So, what does she create – great question!! She is your go to for beautiful wedding stationery, business stationery, notepads, banners, runners, scrolls, prints for cakes – yep you’ve read that right – Ive used them – they work! Even if you want some creative juju, go follow her instagram for some visual beauty . She also runs a Christmas etsy shop, do I sound like a super fan? Its because I am. But also I just want to appreciate this women who is crushing it. Who brings ideas to fruition and makes it all work, whilst being a mum and running a house. Big love for this lady.
