This weekend I had a rare weekend off from working and enjoyed my time relaxing. I headed to one of my favourites spots by the river and set site for a BBQ. Me and Jim joined my parents, nephew and niece and had fun  doing nothing. Well, I say nothing, there was no work. But there was plenty of river swimming, sun soaking, crayfish catching (attempting), eating and laughing.  Being able swim in the river, marks that summer actually landed. I can’t class it as a summer if I haven’t done it. That on top of a Murray win at the weekend, and well, it was  pretty fab!

We were greeted pretty early on by these two faces! The kids didn’t take long to start exploring..  This is my nephew, Riley.… and my niece,Grace.  Whilst this one was sipping from the river, totally not bothered about anybody around.. ..we decided that everyone had done enough snoozing…. And that it was time to get back in the water.For a water fight!! 😉Happy sunny Monday!
